Welcome To Your New Political Party

An open letter to my Democrat friends

This may be news to some but I rarely write about politics. However, when there is a fundamental change in politics, it’s one of those rare times I feel compelled to do so.

This article is about a different political party. A fairly new party in America. No one has ever heard of it but it is hugely popular and many people already belong to it.Huh? How can that be?

As the late, great Dr. Walter E Williams used to say, “let’s look at it.”

It’s called the ANTIDEM party. If anyone beat me to that name, congrats. I have never seen it described with that name anywhere else, so for now, I’m claiming I created that name. Big deal.

Based only upon the name, it would be understandable to speculate that this new party is going to be dedicated to opposing Democrats. An organization for those many millions who find themselves estranged from the moribund Republican Party. Incorrect.

Many of you are already in this new party, or at least vote for their candidates on a regular basis. So no need to formally join up. You’re in whether you know it or not. The name I chose describes the purpose of the party. It’s not a party that is anti Democrats. It’s a party that is anti democracy itself.

The Antidem party has different names in different places in the world but it’s basically the same party. In the US the party is currently called the Democratic Party. That party whose main goal used to be opposition to whatever the Republican Party claimed to stand for.

(The GOP does the same in reverse. But that topic is for a different article. I’d be happy to write it for anyone who doesn’t know why the “Stupid Party” is actually the idiotic party.)

Let’s look at what the Antidem party is and what it has already accomplished.

• They are in power in many countries, large and small, and control most of the world’s wealth.

• They have control over the biggest militaries in the world.

• Right now they control the “democratic” governments of the United States, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. It’s not too much of a stretch to include Communist China and its ilk to that list as well.

Now let’s look at what they oppose. There is no particular order to this list.

• They oppose freedom of speech.

• They oppose the right to keep and bear arms.

• They oppose the right to peaceably assemble.

• They oppose the right to be secure in your papers and property.

• They oppose the personal ownership and control of bank accounts and other assets.

• They oppose the right to travel freely.

• They oppose the right of self ownership and control of your own body.

• They oppose the free practice of religion.

• They oppose the right to have a speedy trial by a jury of your peers.

• They oppose the democratic process.

• They oppose equal treatment under the law.

• They oppose any useful verification of voting eligibility.

• They oppose “the little guy.”

• They oppose the parental rights of people with children, particularly in regards to education and abortion.

You may recognize many Bill of Rights items on that partial list.

Now let’s take a look at what they advocate, also in no particular order.

• They advocate government control of what you wear on your body.

• They advocate the use of violence and coercion to advance political goals.

• They advocate government control of business.

• They advocate open borders in the US.

• They advocate voting by non-citizens in elections.

• They advocate cruel and unusual punishment for “crimes” against the government.

• They advocate coercion or outright violent force be used to medicate people at the government’s whim.

• They advocate the decriminalization of theft.

• They advocate a government monopoly on the definition of truth.

• They advocate racism.

Now let’s look at what they generally claim to be true, in no particular order.

• There are numerous sexes in human beings and gender is determined by personal choice.

• “Science” is defined as the opinion of certain selected “experts” with no requirement for explanation, examination, debate, or review allowed.

• Universities, historically places for exploring and debating ideas and concepts, are now to be places where any idea or speech not conforming to current dogma is forbidden.

• “Canceling” the rights of individuals with whom they disagree without regard to the rule of law is encouraged.

• Women’s rights are now to be secondary to the rights of currently popular sexual identification identities.

• Centralized top down decisions on all governmental policies by “smart” people and elite thinkers.

Here is my open letter to my Democrat friends:

If you are still supporting the traditional Democratic Party in the US, for whatever reason, or in opposition to Trumpism, the above things are what you now support because that is what they support.

You are now an ANTIDEM. Anti freedom, anti democracy, anti US Constitution, anti human rights, anti people, anti progress. Is that what you think you are? The term “in denial” comes to mind if you don’t.

You have to ask yourself whether that party represents your values and beliefs and whether you want to continue supporting them. It’s your choice where you stand and what you do next. To be silent is to join the new party and accept the destruction of your old party. Those are the only two options.

So I ask you in this open letter to examine that choice. Because without you, the biggest threat to true progressivism will prevail. The world is in the process of turning back hundreds and perhaps even thousands of years of progress. Returning to chaos and misery is the inevitable conclusion of this path. The world is waiting for you to decide who you are and what you believe in. And time is running out.

My Democratic friend, will you choose to return to the values of your former Democratic Party or become one of the ANTIDEMS as described above?

The battle can only be won by you taking your party back or leaving to become a politically independent citizen. No other party currently in existence or outsiders can do it if you don’t.
