Today I read a column on John Kass’s new website, johnkassnews.com. I subscribe to his writing. I like to read his columns and I like to support independent journalism. I suggest you do the same if you like those two things as well.
The column I read was written by a guest writer, Cory Franklin. It’s titled, “If You See Something, Say Something.” It concerns transsexual athletes competing in collegiate sports. In this case swimming. It contains some fundamental truths.
It inspired me to tell my “story.” It really hit home for me.
I'm over 70 yrs old but recently decided to identify as a 5 yr old. I'm transitioning right now. I entered a foot race against my 4 yr old grandson and won easily. It bodes well for the contests next year when he will be 5. I might include other 5 yr olds. Even granddaughters. I imagine I might get a medal. A life long dream finally realized.
It just proves that old adage, “If you try hard enough you can be anything you want to be.” I’m finally a champion.
I Finally Made it to the Top
I can't be too hard on those who pretend they are something other than what they actually are. After all, I'm pretending to be a writer. ;-)
I identify as a politician, where are my millions of dollars?
