Guilty as Charged

If you thought that the Facebook and other social media censorship campaigns were frightening, you ain't seen nothin' yet.

A Senate hearing was held on Tuesday, Jan 11th which was titled "Domestic Terrorism Threat One Year After January 6." At that hearing Assistant Attorney General Matthew Olsen said he created a new unit focused on “domestic terrorism” and here is the reason he gave:

"We have seen a growing threat from those who are motivated by racial animus, as well as those who ascribe to extremist anti-government and anti-authority ideologies," the authoritarian asshat said. In other words, if you are anti-HIM, you are an extremist domestic terrorist. Just like the parents of children who loudly complained to school board members about what was happening in their schools, apparently.

It seems that the federal government has now decided that people like me, and there are millions upon millions of people like me in this country, are now to be investigated for being "Anti-authority ideologues."

It should be noted that the announcement was made by a government turd who is part of the attorney general’s office, a steaming pile of bureaucratic incompetence if ever there was one. My opinion on that alone may lead to many bad things happening to me and anyone else who shares that opinion.

So it's not just me but maybe even some of you. Perhaps for reading this you could be investigated. Maybe you will be accused along with me just for reading my posts on FB or what I write here at Substack. Heaven help you if you gave the little thumbs up or hit the "like" button. If you ever have given anything I have written a little red heart icon you better get an attorney lined up.

Virtually every libertarian, upper or lower case, might as well do what I will do right now. Namely, plead guilty.

Same for most independents and most of the people of whichever party is not in power right now. Guilty of disagreeing with the government on policy or reasoning, or accusing them of violating your rights.

All the sleeping Republicans and conservatives are in danger as well. But the most perilous position to be in right now is to be a simpleton progressive who thinks they are good to go because they are on the winning side. They may want to look at their already “canceled” friends to see what happens when you least expect it. Maybe dig up Max Robespierre’s head and ask it how that guillotine blade worked out for him.

It could be worse than just being an anti-government ideologue, and it is. Because it's not just the government. It's expanded to anyone of authority who you disagree with. Presumably that would include the guy mopping the floor in the public restroom I visited today who seemed to be in charge of that facility at that time. He had the authority to admit me or make me dance around in the lobby. Thankfully he was a benevolent authoritarian.

All my life I have been an "anti-authority ideologue." Just ask my mom and dad or any teacher who told me I had to do something I thought was stupid. I ended up sitting in the corner a lot. Soon in a prison cell I guess.

Some may think I'm overreacting to something in the news cycle. I advise them to go look up the testimony.

Before you do that though, consider this: these immoral slobs lie all the time. In fact, every time. So maybe they are lying again about this? Maybe it’s all just a bluff in this horrible card game where they control the deck. Maybe.

The question becomes, are you willing to bet the rest of your life and that of your children because you have a feeling that it’s all bluster?

That’s your choice. It’s one of the few choices you have left.
